Coach Brandi?
Well, the outcome of the game wasn’t what we would have liked against the Skyblue FC. Nevertheless, I was able to spend time with some awesome girls before the game. They made me their honorary assistant coach. Here are some some pictures that they sent. I’ll cherish the memories of watching Gemma and her teammates! Oh, and I also got to meet a really cute 4 year old whose parents named her Chastain. How cool is that?

My daughter is a huge fan. She plays division I, gold and was the MVP of her team last season. Unfortunately, she was just diagnosed with scoliosis with a 60 degree curvature of the spine that requires major back surgery in October right after her 14 birthday. Do you have any advice? Do you know anyone that had the surgery and was able to continue playing soccer at a highly competitive level? She is devestated that she might not be able to play soccer. There is no doubt in my mind that she had a bright future and would have received a soccer scholarship. Her dreams are shattered. We are praying the doctor will OK contact sports a year after her surgery. She will work hard after surgery. She already has a game plan. She plans to workout, swim, bike, etc. as soon as she gets the OK.
