Special Blog: Help Win Brandi The Prestigious Jefferson Award for Public Service
Hi Friends,
I received a notice today that Brandi has been nominated for the prestigious Jefferson Award for Public Service. She was nominated for all of her work helping young girls improve the quality of their lives. Four years ago she co-founded a non-profit called BAWSI (Bay Area Women’s Sports Initiative). Winning the award will grant BAWSI additional funds that they need to keep their programs going.
Former winners include Oprah Winfrey, Bill and Melinda Gates, and Senator Ted Kennedy.
I believe you have to be 13 years old in order to vote, so make sure your parents help.
