This disorder is called enuresis and is easily treatable. There are a number of methods, but I prefer the behavior therapy alarm. This involves putting a flat moisture sensitive device under the child which sounds an controlled alarm—thereby providing negative reinforcement. It is very successful. Contact a behavior treatment clinic or therapist in your area for more info. I tend to avoid MDs who may medicate your child.

Thanks for your input. The only thing I would disagree with would be to avoid MDs. A good pediatrician is an excellent resource for parents. In my experience, most will avoid medications if not necessary.
