I have a lot of lipglosses. I buy them on impulse, because they look so sparkly and cute and I always hope that that cuteness will just transfer over when I apply them to my lips. That’s not the case. It’s just been disappointment after disappointment with lipglosses. They’re either too sticky or too shiny or they wear off within two minutes of application. So there you have it—the lipgloss love/hate relationship. But I think I may have finally found a lipgloss that works for me and the funniest part is that I ended up buying it completely by accident (long story…). Anyway, the solution to my lipgloss woes is Burt’s Bees Natural Lip Gloss! Yay for the “natural” in that title, since the truth is, you really don’t want fake, petroleum-based products that are found in other glosses anywhere near your mouth. It’s subtly shiny, so you can keep slicking more on without having to worry about blinding anyone. It smells fresh—a scent that reminds me of my backyard when the fruit trees are in bloom. It also feels like chapstick on your lips—not too sticky or too liquid-y.
Leave it to the bees to solve my lipgloss dilemmas!
