It’s always good to be able to see the potential for chic in some article of clothing, especially now that we all have to think conservative when it comes to buying items. Sometimes, the cutest outfits come from the most unexpected places. I have this frumpy gray skirt with a grandma-esque floral pattern. It is past knee-length. It is ruffled. It is absolutely hideous. Or so I thought. With a white tank, an updated hemline, and a cool belt, the skirt was transformed into an outfit that always gets me compliments. By wearing the skirt as a high-waisted and cinching it with a wide leather belt, the granny-factor was replaced by a chic, one-of-a-kind look. Remember: accessories and a bit of experimentation have the ability to chic-ify anything. Well, almost anything. :D
none.
