Brandi had a blast at the Allykatzz Tween Summit in Wahington DC. We’ve decided to help put on more of these events throughout the country. Let us know what YOU think!!
I watched the tween summit video posted on Ally Katzz, and was inspired by
it. I LOVE soccer as well. Some of my friends and I joined a new team called
the Lady Dragons. We have made lots of new friends, and honed our soccer
skills. Though I don’t want to make soccer my career, I would like to keep
playing all through my life no matter what I decide on as my career. Once
again I would like to mention your Ally Katzz video, I love you’re
determination to push for equality. I cannot stand when a boy won’t pick you
for his kickball team, or pass the ball to you when you’re playing football,
because you’re a girl. Thank you for trying to spread the word: girls are
just as good as boys at everything, from sports - to making up “potty”
jokes. Please reply, Emma (P.S. I CANNOT hula-hoop either)

Hi Emma,
It doesn’t matter whether you play soccer, or any other sport, for a career. It matters that you play for the joy of the game.
Each one of us can make a difference. It takes our entire community to join our voices together, then we will be heard. We would love to hear from other girls to share personal stories, as well. Keep posted to Brandisworld, as we have more plans, but we need your support!
